My love for magazines started when I was a little girl. 🎀

My mom, as a teacher always putting an emphasis on education in our household, had us subscribed to Highlights, but every blue moon, she could be swayed to indulge my “tweenage” desire to have a singular issue of Seventeen that I’d stumble upon in the Dollar General checkout line. My grandmother, however, was subscribed to everything under the sun! Elle, Glamour, Essence, and my personal favorite — People (because what tween doesn’t want all the hot celebrity goss).

Fast forward — with my grandmother no longer with us, a new-age emphasis on technology over physical media, and no more subscriptions coming to our mailbox, I’ve found a way to marry my passion for graphic design with my love for magazines and the beautiful chaos of pop culture. And occasionally, a little bit about me (in true Leo fashion)!🤍
